Maths: Mathletics activities (all based on fractions): Comparing fractions 2; Simplifying fractions; No common denominator; Multiply fraction by fraction; Divide fractions visual model CGP pages to complete: Fractions, decimals and percentages. Standard: 30, 31, 36, 37, 38, 39 Advanced: 29, 30, 31, 32 Please also practise your times tables for ten minutes everyday.
English: CGP pages to complete: Word Meaning, page 7, Retrieving information page 8, 9, Summarising - page 10 and 11. Writing activity: Choose one of the images on the weblinks below. Have a look at the image on the website and answer the questions in the Question Time section. Use your answers to plan a story about the image that you have chosen. Then, allow yourselves time to write and edit your story. We would expect your story to be around one side of A4 when typed in size 14 font. History project: We would like you to research food and drink in the times of the Maya. You can present your findings in a format of your choice: a poster, a google doc, a google slides presentation, perhaps even by doing some cooking at home! We would like you to post evidence of your learning into Google classroom. Use the following questions to help focus your research: What did the Maya eat? How did they find/grow their food? How does what the Maya ate compare to our diet today?
