The children will
be offered a range of activities to take part in at lunchtime in addition to
the sporting activities they usually take part in. Please ensure that your
child has their PE kit in school all week for both indoor and outdoor
activities. At lunchtimes, staff will be looking for those children with a
healthy lunch box and awarding stickers to recognise this. You can support your
child by providing them with healthy food and discussing the importance of
leading a healthy life.
On Tuesday 21st
January every child will have the chance to take part in a roller-skating
session. The equipment, including knee and elbow pads, will all be provided.
All children will also take part in a tap-dancing session on the Wednesday
where they will learn a short routine. We are really looking forward to giving
the children these extra opportunities and appreciate your support in
encouraging healthy lifestyles.
